Pampers and Allyson Felix Announce $250K Commitment to Help Drive Systemic Change for Black Moms
Pampers has announced a commitment of $250,000 over the next year to address systemic health disparities impacting Black mothers. This initiative arises from alarming statistics showing Black mothers are three times more likely to face pregnancy-related deaths than other mothers, despite 60% being preventable. A significant part of this funding, $100,000, is allocated to the National Birth Equity Collaborative to support training and advocacy efforts aimed at improving the quality of care for Black mothers. Olympic athlete Allyson Felix joins Pampers in promoting awareness around this critical health issue.
