ISO 14001 is for environmental management systems and ISO 45001 is for occupational health and safety systems.

Auditors from Bureau Veritas, Avangrid’s external registrar, spent 31 days examining Avangrid’s renewable energy operations, visiting 10 clean energy sites and the business’s Portland, Oregon office. While Avangrid has achieved ISO 45001 certification in the past, this was the first time the business audited its environmental management systems. This was also the first time the audit included both operational and construction sites.
