Avangrid employees have increased their volunteer hours tenfold since 2021 when it began tracking these figures and surpassed its longstanding goal of 35,000 volunteer hours by 2025 one year early.

• Volunteers organized 57 events last year that focused on food insecurity. More than 577 volunteers worked in food pantries, food banks, urban farms, or other local organizations to address food scarcity in our communities.
• With a critical need for school supplies in under resourced classrooms, employees collected over 2,300 school supplies to support the Kids in Need Foundation.
• Over 400 volunteers participated in 47 events with a focus on education, including career fairs, science centers, museums, and supply drives.
