Textron Aviation (NYSE: TXT) has opened its second Plane Healthy Wellness Center & Pharmacy at its east headquarters in Wichita, Kansas, expanding healthcare access for over 9,500 employees and their dependents. The facility, operated by Premise Health, offers comprehensive services including primary care, urgent care, pharmacy with drive-through, physical therapy, radiology, mental health services, and wellness coaching.

The expansion follows the success of the first wellness center at the west Wichita campus, which opened in 2022 and recorded impressive metrics: over 19,000 visits, 32,000 prescriptions filled, and a Net Promoter Score of 90, significantly higher than the healthcare industry average of 58. Textron Aviation is marking the 10-year anniversary of its European Distribution Center (EUDC) in Düsseldorf, Germany, which has evolved into the company's second-largest parts distribution facility. The EUDC facility has shown significant growth, doubling in size to 21,500 square feet (2,000m2) and quadrupling its inventory value. The development will take place at Aeromot's facility in Brazil, where the company will work on obtaining a Brazilian Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) from ANAC.

The new feature will be available worldwide once certified and can be installed as an optional factory installation on new production aircraft. The collaboration leverages Brazil's significant Cessna Caravan presence, with over 200 aircraft operating across general aviation, commercial operators, the Brazilian Air Force, and State Police organizations.

The project is expected to create employment opportunities in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, while benefiting Cessna Caravan operators globally.

Textron Aviation is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Cessna Caravan, a versatile single-engine utility turboprop that has become an industry cornerstone. With over 3,100 aircraft delivered and certification in 100 countries, the Caravan platform, including the Grand Caravan EX, has accumulated more than 25 million flight hours globally.

First delivered in 1985, the aircraft was designed as a rugged utility vehicle with low operating costs.
