The newly appointed Independent Board members will include Chief Financial Officer of Squarespace, Marcela Martin; and former CFO of Cloudera, Jim Frankola, who will be Audit Committee Chairman.

Marcela Martin
Ms. Martin has been Chief Financial Officer of Squarespace, a website building and hosting company, since November 2020. Prior to joining Squarespace, Ms. Martin held several executive leadership positions. Ms. Martin was Chief Financial Officer for Booking.com, a digital travel company, from January 2019 to November 2020 where she led the company’s finance function and oversaw finance operations, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions. Between January 2016 and December 2018, Ms. Martin was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of National Geographic. Between November of 1998 and December of 2015, Ms. Martin held positions with Fox International Channels, including Executive Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer. In September 2021, Ms. Martin joined both the board of Avalara, a provider of tax automation for businesses, and the board of Chegg, Inc., an education technology company, as a member of the Audit Committee. Ms. Martin received an M.B.A. from the University of Liverpool, and received a bachelor’s in administration from Universidad de Morón with an expertise in accounting. Ms. Martin’s experience working as an executive financial operations leader and her skills related to emerging technology companies will make her a valuable asset to the New Cvent Board.
Jim Frankola
Mr. Frankola was Chief Financial Officer of Cloudera, a company that provides a hybrid cloud platform for data, between October 2012 and October 2021. In this position, Mr. Frankola oversaw finance, accounting, data, and information technology functions. Presently, Mr. Frankola is a Strategic Advisor to Cloudera and has been a Director of Ansys, a multi-physics engineering simulation software company, since March 2021. Prior to joining Cloudera, Mr. Frankola was Chief Financial Officer of Yodlee, a provider of cloud-based personal financial management solutions, from 2010 to 2012. Between 2006 and 2010, Mr. Frankola was a Director of Actividentity, an authentication and credential management company. Mr. Frankola also served as Chief Financial Officer at Ariba, a software and information technology services company, from 2001 to 2008. Mr. Frankola received an M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a B.S. in accounting from Penn State University.
