She has served on the Board as an independent director since 2018 and previously served as Chief Executive Officer and director ofPopeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Inc. , a publicly traded, multi-national restaurant operator and franchisor, from 2007 until her retirement in 2017. She served on the board of Pier 1 Imports, Inc., a home furnishings and décor retailer, from 2012 to 2020. While a member of the Pier 1 board, she served as Interim Chief Executive Officer, fromDecember 2018 toNovember 2019 .Ms. Bachelder currently serves as Lead Director on the board ofChick-fil-A, Inc. , a privately-owned company, and a member of the advisory board of Procter & Gamble’s franchising venture.Ms. Bachelder brings more than 44 years of strategic brand building experience toUS Foods and provides extensive operating experience, including in the public company CEO role.
