Diluted shares assume the conversion of the convertible debt as the effect would be dilutive. Accordingly, for the quarter ended October 1, 2023, 0.6 million shares have been included in diluted shares. For the nine months ended October 1, 2023, 0.8 million shares have been included in diluted shares. For the quarters ended September 29, 2024, June 30, 2024, and October 1, 2023, diluted shares included 0.5 million, 4.9 million, and 9.2 million shares, respectively, from the convertible note hedge transaction. For the nine months ended September 29, 2024, and October 1, 2023, diluted shares included 4.8 million and 9.0 million shares, respectively, from the convertible note hedge transaction.
