Synovus Bank has appointed Tommy Flinn as market executive for upstate South Carolina, covering Greenville and Spartanburg, effective Sept. 30. Flinn brings over 15 years of experience in commercial banking, previously serving as senior vice president of commercial banking at First Citizens Bank. He has also held leadership positions at PNC Financial Services Group and BB&T. Flinn is actively involved in the community, serving on boards including Safe Harbor, Meals on Wheels Endowment, and the Greenville Zoo Foundation.
