NOVI, Mich., Oct. 26, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Utilimaster® has been awarded a $53 million contract from the United States Postal Service (USPS) for 447 Utilimaster truck bodies to be used for bulk mail delivery. Utilimaster – a go-to-market brand of The Shyft Group's Fleet Vehicles & Services business unit (NASDAQ: SHYF), North America's leader in specialty vehicle manufacturing, assembly, and upfit for ecommerce-driven parcel delivery, as well as the broader commercial, retail, and service specialty vehicle markets – delivers dependable, efficient utility vehicles specifically designed to meet customers' exacting requirements and help them reach their business goals. This USPS order is in addition to the previous $214 million multi-year contract for more than 2,000 vehicles, which was completed during the third quarter of 2019.
