Epson America has announced an exclusive document management bundle promotion in collaboration with Digitech Systems and Southern Computer Warehouse (SCW). Running from January 15 through June 30, customers purchasing select Epson document scanners from SCW's online store will receive 12 months of Sys.tm®, Digitech Systems' cloud-based information management service, at a discounted price.

The bundle includes various Epson scanner models, including the DS-C490, DS-970, DS-790WN, DS-530 II, and DS-870. These high-performance scanners are designed for reliability, speed, and secure document capture. The Sys.tm platform offers a modular, usage-based billing model targeting industries like healthcare and public sector, where secure management of sensitive documents is crucial.

Epson America announced that Lauren Lung, director of commercial sales, has been named to CRN's 2025 Channel Chiefs list. Lung, who joined Epson in 2016, leads end-user sales teams across North America and has been instrumental in expanding the company's reach into Canadian markets.

Under Lung's leadership, her team has implemented a new program focused on positioning Epson's solutions as an integrated ecosystem, successfully expanding into new vertical markets. Epson has unveiled 12 new PowerLite L-Series laser projectors, featuring enhanced brightness up to 8,000 lumens and advanced professional features. The new lineup includes models with 4K Enhancement Technology and short throw options, covering throw ratios from 0.5 to 2.2.

The projectors incorporate 3-chip 3LCD technology and can display images up to 500 inches in 16:10 format. Key features include wireless connectivity with Wi-Fi 6/6E, built-in NFC, geometric correction tools, and optional PixAlign camera for multi-projector installations. The series offers up to 30,000-hour maintenance-free laser light source and air filter in Extended Mode.

The new PowerLite L-Series will be available in April 2025, with special pricing through the Brighter Futures program for educational institutions.

Epson Robots, the world's leading SCARA robot manufacturer, will showcase its automation solutions at MD&M West 2025, scheduled for February 4-9 in Anaheim, California. The company will demonstrate its high-performance SCARA robots and participate in a panel discussion on smart manufacturing.

The exhibition will feature demonstrations of the T-B Series All-in-One SCARA robots with built-in controllers and quick installation capabilities, and the GX-Series SCARA robots with GYROPLUS® vibration reduction technology. Epson's RC+® Industrial Automation Development Software will also be showcased.

Epson America and TROY Group have partnered to launch two new secure printing solutions powered by Epson's PrecisionCore technology. The collaboration introduces the TROY ST-C5000 Secure UV Printer and the TROY WF-C21000 MICR Color Printer, designed to enhance document security and combat fraud.

The ST-C5000 utilizes UV fluorescent ink to print overt or covert security markings, helping businesses and government agencies reduce counterfeiting risks. The WF-C21000 combines MICR check printing with color capabilities, targeting financial institutions and production check printers.

TROY selected Epson's heat-free inkjet technology specifically because it preserves the integrity of TROY's specialty inks, unlike laser devices that can compromise ink functionality through heat exposure. The solutions aim to provide sustainable, reliable printing while reducing downtime and minimizing waste.

RaceTrac, a major convenience store chain operating 580+ stores across 13 states, has transformed its shelf tagging operations by implementing Epson ColorWorks CW-C6000A on-demand color label printers in-house. The transition from third-party printing has reduced production time from weeks to under two days and achieved approximately 50% cost savings, equivalent to over $250,000 in the past year.

The new system integrates three ColorWorks printers with Loftware Cloud software and IPSi's custom label software, enabling RaceTrac to print high-resolution, 2-foot or 4-foot synthetic shelf strips featuring product images, barcodes, UPCs, and pricing information. The solution provides complete control over the shelf tag process, allowing for immediate adjustments and real-time replacement of damaged tags.

Epson announced its participation at TCEA 2025 in Austin, Texas (Feb. 2-4, booth #935), where it will showcase its latest projection and display solutions for educational environments. The company will demonstrate various lamp-free laser projectors designed for different applications in K-12 settings.

Key products to be featured include: the PowerLite 810E, a new extreme short throw display capable of 80-inch displays from one inch away; the Mobi Mobile Projector Cart, named one of TIME's 2024 Best Inventions Special Mentions; the BrightLink 770Fi interactive display; the EB-PU2116W, a 16,000-lumen large venue projector; the PowerLite L630SU short throw laser projector; and the DC-30 Wireless Document Camera with 4K resolution.

Epson has unveiled its first wide-format direct-to-film (DTFilm) printer, the SureColor G6070, targeting the growing DTFilm market. The printer, priced at $13,995 MSRP, will be available in spring 2025 through Epson Professional Imaging resellers.

The SureColor G6070 features a 35.4-inch print width, front-loading media design, and utilizes PrecisionCore Micro TFP printhead technology with Nozzle Verification Technology. It incorporates UltraChrome DF inks, which are OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORT certified and CPSIA-compliant.

Key features include automated maintenance systems, remote job tracking through Epson Cloud Solution PORT, and efficient workflow with Fiery Digital Factory DTF Epson Edition software. The printer is designed for minimal maintenance, requiring only a few minutes of weekly upkeep to maintain continuous high-quality production.
