Epson has announced the launch of its new TM-T20IV Thermal Receipt Printer, designed for modern point of sale (POS) needs. The printer combines speed, reliability, and affordability in a compact package, supporting both traditional PC-POS and mPOS systems.

Key features include print speeds up to 250 mm/sec, dual connectivity options (USB with Serial, and USB with Serial and Ethernet), intuitive status LED, and paper-saving capabilities of up to 30%. The device comes with a 2-year warranty, expandable to 5 years through service plans.

The compact 3-inch thermal printer is specifically engineered for hospitality and retail environments, offering multiplatform support and easy maintenance. The product will be available through Epson authorized channel partners in Q1 2025.

Epson (SEKEY) announced its participation at NRF 2025: Retail's Big Show from Jan. 12-14 in New York City, where it will showcase its comprehensive retail technology solutions. Epson announced its TrueOrder Kitchen Display System (KDS) is now available on select Elo hardware devices, including the I-Series Linux touchscreen computer and Backpack Linux PC. This partnership aims to enhance kitchen management systems for quick-service restaurants (QSR) and small restaurants. The KDS solution digitizes kitchen operations, offering custom views for kitchen, expediter, and customer-facing stations with touch control. The system can support up to nine stations throughout the kitchen and features easy setup with browser-based configuration utility.
