Raytheon UK (NYSE: RTX) has been awarded a contract by the UK Space Agency to provide orbital analysts in support of the UK Space Domain Awareness mission, announced 4 November 2025. The team will use Raytheon UK's NORSSTrack software to map and track satellites, monitor potential collisions and debris, assess re-entries and deliver data for operational decision-making. Analysts will be based at the National Space Operations Centre facility at Royal Air Force Base High Wycombe and will support the centre's analysis and response capability.
The contract reinforces Raytheon UK's ongoing partnership with the UK Space Agency and its investment in space domain awareness talent and technology, positioned to support national and allied space resilience.

The company completed the divestiture of Collins actuation and flight control and returned $0.9 billion to shareowners while paying down $2.9 billion of debt.

Raytheon (NYSE: RTX) delivered the first PhantomStrike® radar to Korea Aerospace Industries for its FA-50 light combat aircraft fleet on Oct. 20, 2025.
PhantomStrike is a fully air-cooled, high-efficiency Gallium Nitride fire-control radar designed for size-, weight-, and power-constrained platforms. The system is claimed to weigh nearly half of modern AESA radars, cost nearly half of a typical fire-control radar, and offers long-range detection, digital beam agility, advanced target detection, and jamming resistance.
Raytheon completed Multi-Program Testbed flight tests for air-to-air and air-to-ground performance, delivered a lab integration unit in August, and will produce PhantomStrike in Forest MS, Tucson AZ, and Scotland with support from Raytheon UK. The radar is approved for export as a Direct Commercial Sale product.
Pratt & Whitney (NYSE: RTX) announced that the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has validated type certification for the GTF Advantage engine, enabling entry into service in 2026. The engine received U.S. FAA certification earlier in 2025. The GTF Advantage offers 4% more takeoff thrust at sea level and 8% more at high altitude, improved fuel efficiency, and a more durable configuration delivering up to double the time on wing. It is fully intermixable and interchangeable with the current GTF model and is planned to become the production standard. Pratt & Whitney also announced Hot Section Plus (HS+), an upgrade for existing GTF engines that provides 90–95% of the Advantage's durability benefits.
Collins Aerospace (NYSE: RTX) on Oct 15, 2025 expanded its FlightAware AeroAPI to provide broader, easier access to historical flight data.
Data now available through the AeroAPI extends back to January 2011 and covers airports, operators and city pairs, with advanced filtering and intuitive categorization to support flight planning, resource management, maintenance scheduling and competitive analysis.
The update targets operators, flight departments and technology providers seeking deeper historic trends or granular queries to improve operational performance and efficiency.
Pratt & Whitney (NYSE: RTX) reports its PW800 turbofan has surpassed 600,000 flying hours powering Gulfstream G500 (in service 2018), G600 (2019) and Dassault Falcon 6X (2023). More than 700 engines serve 250 operators, the company says.
The PW800 offers double-digit fuel-burn and noise improvements versus prior-generation engines, can operate on a 50% SAF blend, and claims dispatch reliability >99.98%. Pratt & Whitney reports the engine requires 40% less scheduled maintenance and 20% fewer inspections than peers. In 2025 the company expanded PW800 MRO capacity with new MTU shop in Berlin-Brandenburg and an added high-speed line in Burlington, Vermont, while keeping Bridgeport, West Virginia operational.
Raytheon (NYSE: RTX) broke ground on a $53 million, 23,000 square-foot expansion of its Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS) production facility in Andover, Massachusetts on Oct. 15, 2025. The expansion adds capacity enhancements to accelerate delivery of next-generation LTAMDS radars, which are designed to counter advanced threats including hypersonic weapons.
The Andover campus, opened in 1980, currently performs Patriot testing and serves as the final integration point for U.S. and international LTAMDS customers; construction is scheduled to conclude in late 2026.
Collins Aerospace (NYSE: RTX) announced its Venue™ smart monitor integrated with Airshow® HD will enter service on a Dassault Falcon 7X in November 2025. Dassault Falcon Jet's Little Rock service center will install two Venue smart monitors into the cabin bulkhead.
The standalone IFE solution provides 4K/ultra‑high‑definition video, flight information, streaming entertainment, touchscreen options, and a mobile Airshow HD app. Venue is offered in five sizes and is designed to reduce hardware, lower aircraft power consumption, simplify maintenance, and support phased upgrade paths.
