GILBERT, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Footprint, Inc., a global materials science technology company focused on creating a healthier planet, announced today it has appointed Hilla Sferruzza as an independent member of its board of directors. Sferruzza has been the chief financial officer and executive VP for Meritage Homes Corporation (NYSE:MTH) since 2016 and its chief accounting officer and SVP, corporate controller since 2008. Prior to Meritage, she served in various management roles at Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE:HOT), subsequently acquired by Marriott International, and as a public auditor for KPMG.
