BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- MFS Investment Management® (MFS®) is making a portfolio management team announcement for MFS® Charter Income Trust (NYSE: MCR) and MFS® Multimarket Income Trust (NYSE: MMT), each a closed end fund.

Effective January 20, 2023, John “Jay” Mitchell has joined the portfolio management teams responsible for MFS® Charter Income Trust and MFS® Multimarket Income Trust. Henry Peabody has relinquished his portfolio management responsibilities on these two funds and has left the firm to pursue other opportunities.

The investment objective and investment strategy of each fund will not change as a result of these announcements.
