Hyundai Named 2025 Merit Award 'Gold' Winner for Corporate Social Responsibility
Hyundai Motor America (HYMTF) has been awarded Gold Winner in the 2025 Merit Awards for HR, specifically for Community Engagement and Corporate Social Responsibility. The recognition stems from their STEM education initiatives in Coastal Georgia, near their first dedicated EV mass-production plant, Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA).
The company partnered with the SAE Foundation to implement the A World In Motion® STEM program in Bryan County School District's fourth-grade classrooms. Additionally, Hyundai expanded its H2GP Foundation collaboration, sponsoring 16 teams for the Georgia Hydrogen Grand Prix, where students design and race hydrogen-powered RC cars.
