HilltopSecurities today announced the expansion of their Eastern Region Public Finance team with the addition of five investment banking professionals in New York, Massachusetts, Georgia, and Florida. David Orise

Orise brings 15 years of financial services experience to his role. He joins HilltopSecurities’ Atlanta office from TD Bank, N.A., where he served as vice president and relationship manager of the Higher Education and Not-for-Profit group. While he was there, he worked to generate approximately $180 million in funded loans and booked new business within credit limits. Orise received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Morehouse College, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Casey Fox

Fox joins HilltopSecurities’ Boston office from PFM, where he served as senior managing consultant advising and executing issuances of over $7 billion in fixed income securities and private bank loans. His client base included public state institutions nationwide and private colleges and universities throughout the northeast. While at PFM he also held various other roles, including senior analyst and analyst. Fox has nine years of financial services experience. He received a bachelor’s degree in applied economics and management from Cornell University.

Sophie Jean

Jean joins HilltopSecurities’ New York City office with 10 years of financial services experience, most recently serving as an associate at Janney Montgomery Scott. Prior to her time there, she served as an analyst at TD Securities. She also has professional experience as a public finance analyst working on transactions for issuers in New York. Jean received her bachelor’s in finance from St. John’s University and is a member of Northeast Women in Public Finance.

Tricia Helenbolt

Prior to joining HilltopSecurities’ Naples, Florida office, Helenbolt served as the director of communications, admissions and marketing at the Community School of Naples. During her time there, she increased the school’s revenue by $3.7 million annually by leading new student enrollment. She has more than 20 years of experience in marketing, administration, and development in the education and non-profit sectors. Her professional experience with higher education, independent schools, and charter schools have bolstered a strong understanding of educational institution borrowing. Helenbolt has her bachelor’s degrees in English and comparative literary studies from Occidental College. She also received her paralegal certification from UCLA extension.

Alex Pope

Pope joins HilltopSecurities’ Naples, Florida office where he will specialize in operations and sales. He brings 10 years of operations and sales experience to his new role.
