Heritage-Crystal Clean, Inc. Announces 2020 Fourth Quarter and Full Year Financial Results
Heritage-Crystal Clean (HCCI) reported a 4.9% revenue decline to $132.0 million for Q4 2020, compared to $138.8 million in Q4 2019, driven by COVID-19 impacts. Operating margin improved to 19.8% from 18.6% year-over-year. Heritage-Crystal Clean, Inc. provides parts cleaning, used oil re-refining, and hazardous and non-hazardous waste services primarily to small and mid-sized customers in the vehicle maintenance sector as well as manufacturers and other industrial businesses. Through our antifreeze program during 2020 we recycled approximately 3.7 million gallons of spent antifreeze which was used to produce a full line of virgin-quality antifreeze products. Through our parts cleaning program during 2020 we recycled 4 million gallons of used solvent into virgin-quality solvent to be used again by our customers. Through our containerized waste program during 2020 we collected 20 tons of regulated waste which was sent for energy recovery. Through our vacuum services program during 2020 we treated approximately 52 million gallons of wastewater.
