5 terms
tokenized assets financial
"launch of Exodus Markets in partnership with Ondo Finance, a leader in tokenized assets"
A tokenized asset is a digital representation of ownership or rights to a real-world or financial item—such as property, a bond, or a piece of art—recorded on a secure digital ledger. Think of it like turning an asset into many small, tradable tickets that can be bought, sold, or transferred more quickly and cheaply; for investors this can mean easier access, fractional ownership, greater liquidity, and faster settlement, but also introduces technology, legal and market risks.
tokenized stocks financial
"one-tap access to trading 200+ tokenized stocks and ETFs"
Tokenized stocks are digital versions of traditional shares of a company, created using blockchain technology. They allow investors to buy, sell, or hold fractions of a stock in a secure and efficient way, similar to exchanging digital tokens. This can make investing more accessible and flexible, as it enables trading outside of traditional stock exchanges and can reduce barriers for small investors.
etfs financial
"200+ tokenized stocks, ETFs, and real-world assets directly on Solana"
ETFs, or exchange-traded funds, are investment funds that hold a collection of stocks, bonds, or other assets, and can be bought or sold on stock exchanges like individual shares. They offer investors an easy way to diversify their holdings and access different markets or sectors without buying multiple individual assets. Because they are traded throughout the day, ETFs provide flexibility and can help investors manage risk while pursuing their financial goals.
self-custodial wallet technical
"Exodus’ expansion from a self-custodial wallet into a complete financial platform"
A self-custodial wallet is a digital account where the individual investor alone holds the secret codes that prove ownership of their cryptocurrencies or digital assets, rather than a bank or exchange holding them. It matters because it gives full control and faster access—like keeping a safe at home instead of a bank vault—but also places sole responsibility for security and recovery on the investor, affecting risk, liquidity and regulatory exposure.
real-world assets financial
"buy and sell more than 200 tokenized stocks, ETFs, and real-world assets directly"
Real-world assets are physical or financial things of value—like property, commodities, loans, or art—that exist outside digital markets and can be bought, sold, or used as collateral. For investors, they matter because they often provide steady income, reduce reliance on volatile paper markets, and can add diversification much like owning a rental property beside stock holdings. Treat them like tangible building blocks that can stabilize a portfolio and back the value of financial products.

The partnership gives Exodus customers one-tap access to trading 200+ tokenized stocks and ETFs

OMAHA, Neb., June 12, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Exodus Movement, Inc. (NYSE American: EXOD) (“Exodus”) today announced the launch of Exodus Markets in partnership with Ondo Finance, a leader in tokenized assets, giving customers the ability to buy and sell more than 200 tokenized stocks, ETFs, and real-world assets directly on Solana through Exodus.

Exodus Markets is the latest step in Exodus’ expansion from a self-custodial wallet into a complete financial platform that lets customers trade, spend, send, earn rewards, and manage money in one app.

"Tokenized stocks are one of the most important developments in modern finance,” said JP Richardson, CEO and Co-founder of Exodus. “For the first time, our customers can trade and hold tokenized equities with the same direct control and global access they expect from crypto. Exodus is becoming the front door to every asset you hold, without compromising on trust and control.”

Exodus was the first publicly traded company to tokenize its stock in 2021. Now, Exodus customers in supported regions can buy and sell EXOD and 200+ other tokenized assets directly in Exodus, subject to regulatory availability.

“Exodus has one of the largest self-custodial audiences in crypto and they’ve spent years building the trust to bring people into tokenized finance,” said Ian De Bode, CEO at Ondo Finance. “This is how tokenized markets scale, by integrating with the products people already use to manage their money.”

Exodus Markets is now available to eligible customers in select markets. To get started, customers can update to the latest version of Exodus and access tokenized stocks and ETFs directly from the app.

Tokenized assets are not the same as owning the underlying securities and do not provide shareholder rights.
