As part of the contract, Elbit Systems will continue to provide aerial firefigting services in Israel to the Ministry of National Security through a fleet of 14 aircraft, as well as additional operational services including ongoing maintenance of the aircraft and their preparation for flights.
The squadron will be operated under the guidance of the Israeli Police and in accordance with the operational needs determined in coordination with the Fire and Rescue Authority.
