SnapNurse Joins DLH in Alaska';s Fight Against COVID-19

Through a staffing partnership, the two organizations will rapidly deploy hundreds of emergency medical personnel into Alaska’s hospitals, schools and long-term care communities

SnapNurse will rapidly deploy hundreds of highly-trained medical personnel to the state of Alaska in support of two FEMA contracts recently awarded to DLH. Through the first contract, DLH and its partners will provide medical countermeasures and emergency medical services for hospitals, long-term care facilities, and schools throughout the state. It has a total ceiling value of $87 million for the 90-day base period. The second contract calls for the placement of experienced medical personnel to support COVID-19 community testing and collection, vaccination, and monoclonal antibody therapy. It holds a ceiling value of $20 million for the 90-day base period. Both contracts include three one-month optional extensions after the initial period of performance.

Alaska is currently responding to an uptick in COVID-19 cases. SnapNurse will place experienced medical support personnel in communities throughout the state, with DLH will providing emergency medical logistics coordination for the healthcare services team.
