Key Terms

polypropylene (pp) technical
A common plastic material used to make a wide range of products—from food containers and packaging to car parts, textiles and medical devices—polypropylene (PP) is a lightweight, durable thermoplastic. Investors watch PP because its price and availability affect manufacturers’ costs, profit margins and supply chains much like fuel prices influence transportation costs, so shifts in raw-material supply, demand for consumer goods or new production capacity can move company earnings and stock prices.
forest stewardship council (fsc) technical
A Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certificate is a widely recognized label that shows wood, paper, or related products come from forests managed in ways that protect trees, wildlife, and local communities. Investors care because the FSC label reduces regulatory, reputational and supply-chain risks, can open access to environmentally conscious buyers, and sometimes commands price advantages—think of it as a trusted seal that signals lower ethical and business risk in forest-based products.

The new report underscores Dine Brands’ continued commitment to Dine Together, highlighting meaningful impact across its restaurants, franchisees, and communities.
