CHATSWORTH, CA, Oct. 24, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via NewMediaWire - Cavitation Technologies, Inc. ("CTi" or the "Company") (OTCQB:CVAT), a leading ESG company, which designs and manufactures innovative flow-through nano-technology systems for fluid processing applications worldwide, is pleased to announce a major technological breakthrough with the successful development of a cutting-edge Plasma-Based Cavitation system (www.HydroPlasma.Tech) designed for water purification and advanced oxidation. Now, the company is moving forward with building its first pilot system and implementing commercial trials.
Globally, over
Cavitation plasma reactor combines cavitation with cold, non-equilibrium discharge generated by plasma to produce reactive agents such as hydroxyl radicals (OH) and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). These agents are highly efficient at breaking down both organic and inorganic compounds, including bacteria and viruses.
(Flow-through process)
CTi’s innovative system is highly scalable, ranging from 2 gallons per minute (GPM) to 40 GPM, making it adaptable for a wide range of applications. By harnessing the power of cold, non-equilibrium discharge generated by plasma, CTi’s technology can be effectively implemented in various contexts, including:
- Agriculture
- Textile wastewaters
- High precision electronics
- Water remediation in wineries
- Purified water consumption
All these sources are characterized by high levels of COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) and complex mixtures of constituents. For example, our technology extends its impact to the agricultural ecosystem by enhancing crop growth through the control of microorganism development, thus accelerating vegetative and root growth, resulting in increased plant height, more robust seedlings, and greater biomass. Furthermore, the shelf-life of harvested fruits and vegetables may be extended by irrigating the crops with Hydro-Plasma Water.
Roman Gordon, Global Technology Manager and Founder of Cavitation Technologies, Inc., commented: “CTi's breakthrough technology not only addresses pressing global challenges but also presents significant opportunities for our company. We are committed to developing and implementing this technology to benefit communities, industries, and agriculture, providing clean and safe water while promoting sustainable growth.
“Several customers have expressed interest in commencing a commercial trial of the system technology. As a result, the first commercial prototype is expected to be fully completed by the end of this year.”
