(NASDAQ:CVAC), a global biopharmaceutical company developing a new class of transformative medicines based on messenger ribonucleic acid ("mRNA"), today announced that Chief Executive Officer Franz-Werner Haas, Chief Financial Officer Pierre Kemula and Interim Chief Development Officer Ulrike Gnad-Vogt sold an aggregate of 103,775 CureVac common shares. The sales were made solely to cover tax and social security obligations from a legacy Virtual Stock Option Plan (Prior VSOP), which granted virtual options to key members of management. The tax obligations arose as a result of option exercises pursuant to the terms of the Prior VSOP.
Except for tax obligations, all three members of the management team do not plan to sell additional shares in the foreseeable future.
