Carnival Corporation (NYSE: CCL) closed a private offering of $1.25 billion of 5.125% senior unsecured notes due May 1, 2029, on October 15, 2025.

The company issued a notice to redeem $2.0 billion of its outstanding 6.000% senior unsecured notes due 2029 on November 1, 2025, at a redemption price of 101.500% plus accrued interest. Carnival will fund the redemption with proceeds from the new notes and cash on hand.

The new notes pay interest semi-annually beginning May 1, 2026, are unsecured, mature May 1, 2029, are jointly and severally guaranteed by Carnival plc and certain subsidiaries, and are subject to investment grade-style covenants.

Holland America Line (NYSE: CCL) unveiled its 2027–2028 Asia season aboard Noordam, sailing Sept 2027–Apr 2028 with 13–15 day itineraries. The season adds three maiden Japanese ports—Hitachinaka, Nagoya, Maizuru—and a new scenic cruise in Maizuru Bay, plus overnight stays in six major destinations including Halong Bay, Seoul, Bangkok, Manila, Osaka, and Shanghai. Princess Cruises (NYSE:CCL) announced that Sapphire Princess returned from a two-week drydock in Portland, Oregon and will add two specialty restaurants—Makoto Ocean and Crown Grill—opening for guests on Nov 16, 2025. Launched in 2024 as the first Sphere-Class vessel, Sun Princess is a 177,882-ton ship with capacity for 4,300 guests. Carnival Corporation (NYSE: CCL) has expanded its meal donation program into Latin America, marking a historic first for the cruise industry. The company has signed MOUs with food banks and community partners in Mexico, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic to donate surplus prepared meals from its ships to communities in need.
