NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., July 21, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Chipotle Mexican Grill (CMG) today announced two new additions to its board of directors, Mary Winston and Gregg Engles. The changes to the board composition come after Chipotle appointed Brian Niccol, the company's Chief Executive Officer, to the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors in early March, as well as the departure of three directors.

Mary Winston is the Founder and President of WinsCo Enterprises, Inc., a consulting firm providing financial and board governance advisory services since 2016. She served as interim Chief Executive Officer of Bed Bath & Beyond in 2019, and as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Family Dollar Stores, from 2012 until it was acquired by Dollar Tree in 2015. Prior to that, Mary was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Giant Eagle, a supermarket chain from 2008 to 2012, and as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Scholastic Corporation from 2004 to 2007. Mary currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Acuity Brands, Inc., Domtar Corporation, Dover Corporation, and Bed Bath & Beyond.
Gregg Engles is the founder and managing partner of Capitol Peak Partners, a capital investment company since April 2017. Gregg previously served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of The WhiteWave Foods Company from October 2012 until April 2017, when it was acquired by Danone S.A. Prior to that, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Dean Foods Company, a food and beverage company and former parent company of WhiteWave, from April 1996 until WhiteWave's initial public offering in October 2012.
