Los Angeles SkyRail Express (LASRE) is partnering with 33 Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) to develop an innovative monorail system in the traffic-congested Sepulveda Pass/405 Corridor. This initiative emphasizes diversity and inclusion, with LASRE committed to supporting small minority and women-owned firms. The team consists of leading transportation firms, including BYD and Skanska, employing over 2,300 workers in the LA area. If selected by LA Metro, LASRE will propose a straddle monorail system aimed at enhancing connectivity between underserved areas and key transportation hubs.
