CHELMSFORD, Mass., Dec. 1, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Azenta, Inc. (Nasdaq: AZTA) ("Azenta" or the "Company") announced today that it has completed its previously announced corporate name change from "Brooks Automation, Inc." to "Azenta, Inc." In conjunction with the corporate name change, the Company will begin trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the new ticker symbol, AZTA, effective at the open of market trading on December 1, 2021.
This change follows the launch of the Company's life sciences brand, Azenta Life Sciences and the Investor Day held on November 16, 2021. The Company anticipates completion of the sale of the semiconductor automation business in the first half of calendar year 2022, at which time the Company will become a pure play life sciences company.
