COLUMBUS, Ohio, May 11, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading into the 2021 Memorial Day holiday, Big Lots, Inc. (NYSE: BIG) will be partnering for the second year in a row with the National Veterans Memorial and Museum (NVMM) in Columbus, Ohio, to support and impact the lives of Veterans and their families. As part of its ongoing corporate partnership, Big Lots will host an in-store and online fundraising drive from May 15 – 31, where customers nationwide will have the opportunity to donate to the organization at checkout. All proceeds will directly benefit the Memorial and Museum and its programming, while also supporting active military, Veterans, and their families.
Big Lots customers who donate at checkout will be able to further demonstrate their support for our men and women in uniform by hand-writing notes for a Veteran or military hero in their lives. These notes will then be displayed in Big Lots stores across the country on a dedicated wall leading up to the Memorial Day holiday.
