BrainChip Extends Radar Intelligence Leadership Behind Partnership With Information Systems Laboratories
BrainChip Holdings (ASX: BRN, OTCQX: BRCHF, ADR: BCHPY) has announced a strategic partnership with Information Systems Laboratories (ISL) to develop AI-based radar research solutions using BrainChip's Akida™ neural networking processor.
ISL, specializing in advanced signal processing and radar systems, will collaborate with BrainChip to develop radar technology platforms ranging from drones to large systems. ISL's President and CEO, Dr. Joseph R. Guerci, confirmed successful implementation of real-time radar/EW signal processing algorithms using BrainChip's Akida chip, combined with ISL's RF Digital Engineering tools.
The partnership aims to deliver low cost, size, weight and power (SWaP-C) solutions for edge computing applications in aerospace and defense. BrainChip's Akida processor, designed for ultra-low power consumption in neural networks and machine learning algorithms, will enhance cognitive communication capabilities on SWaP-C-constrained platforms including military, spacecraft, and robotics applications.
