Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste (ASR) reported a significant increase in passenger traffic for July 2022, reaching 6.2 million, which is 18.7% higher than July 2019 levels. Colombia saw an impressive 40.9% growth, while Mexico's traffic rose by 15.6%. In Puerto Rico, traffic grew by 4.0%. The increases were driven by the recovery of both domestic and international travel, particularly in Mexico and Colombia, with international traffic seeing substantial year-on-year growth.
