American Public University System Launches Online Job-Search Platform to Help Over 182,000 Students and Alumni Pursue their Purpose
American Public University System (APUS) has introduced APUS CareerLink, a specialized online job resource aimed at over 182,000 students and alumni. This platform connects users with vetted employers seeking skilled professionals, particularly in fields like nursing, public health, and cybersecurity. APUS CareerLink facilitates job searches by location, degree, and certifications and includes user profiles visible to recruiters. CHARLES TOWN, W.V., Sept. 10, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- In today's competitive job market with historically high unemployment due to COVID-19, millions of candidates are searching for work, yet in many professions – including nursing, public health and cybersecurity – the need for skilled professionals far outweighs the current pipeline of applicants. Recognizing this opportunity, American Public University System (APUS) has launched APUS CareerLink, an innovative, custom-built online resource designed specifically for our 100,000-plus alumni and 82,000 students, approximately 88 percent of whom are working professionals.
APUS CareerLink showcases curated jobs from vetted employers who see value in the many skills that American Military University and American Public University students and graduates possess, such as leadership, perseverance, problem-solving and collaboration. The platform features a range of enriching and rewarding job openings nationwide across several different experience levels and industries.

APUS CareerLink, which features an easy-to-navigate interface that is accessible from a student's e-campus, enables users to build profiles that can be viewed by select recruiters — the same ones they may meet at APUS virtual career events. Jobs can be searched based on location, degree program, certifications and security clearances.
