University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Public Health –
$140,000 t o expand Project Echo, a training program for individuals who work in senior living facilities to address social isolation and behavioral health challenges with staff and seniors. -
Alzheimer’s Association –
$85,000 t o support services offered through caregiver support programming, including a helpline, community education, and diversity and inclusion outreach to communities affected by Alzheimer’s. -
Food Bank of Lincoln –
$75,000 t o support the Lincoln Fresh program, which increases access to fresh produce and healthy foods in high-need areas; and Getting Ahead classes, which offer useful tools and practical advice to help individuals and families who are directly affected by poverty.
