Members of the media will get an in-depth look at Georgia Power's storm response, tour a mock Staging Site complete with a Mobile Command Center, response drones, bucket truck and more; visit the company's Storm Center; and meet the storm responders.

    • Mobile Command Center: Learn how incident command uses our tractor trailer to mobilize our storm response to wherever the storm may strike.
    • Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) or response drones: Learn how Georgia Power is using advanced technology to expedite response.
    • From Line to Dine: Learn how workers use bucket trucks in the field, and how they live when deployed for days or weeks at a time including laundry, sleeping and dining trailers.
    • Safety First: Learn how workers in the field stay safe in hazardous conditions, including safety precautions, first aid and emergency programs.
