Key highlights from the 2021 Schneider Corporate Responsibility Report include:
- Sustainability. Schneider is one of the most energy-efficient fleets on the road. The organization has achieved more than half of its 2025 emissions goal and in 2021 announced the addition of 62 Freightliner eCascadia class 8 electric trucks - a key step in building one of North America’s largest electric truck fleets and continuing to reduce emissions.
- Enabling efficiency for customers. Leveraging its shipping and logistics expertise, Schneider works with customers to review network optimization, reduce empty miles, consolidate freight and pick the right mode of transportation. Schneider FreightPower® supports this commitment to shipping and logistics efficiency. FreightPower provides a single digital access point to services and solutions, combining digital analytics and user-friendly design to make it simple for customers to pick the most efficient transportation routes and modes for their needs.
- Corporate culture and a continued focus on safety as a #1 priority.
