Groupe SEB Announces a Change in Its Corporate Governance Effective July 1, 2022
On February 10, 2022, Groupe SEB's Board decided to separate the roles of Chairman and CEO. Thierry de La Tour d’Artaise remains Chairman while Stanislas de Gramont is appointed CEO, effective July 1, 2022. This strategic change aims to enhance corporate governance and performance. Under de La Tour's leadership since 2000, Groupe SEB has quadrupled its revenue and significantly improved operating profit, while successfully completing 18 acquisitions. The Board believes this governance structure will ensure the company's long-term success and uphold its values amidst evolving market challenges.

Thierry de La Tour d’Artaise has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer ofGroupe SEB since 2000. He began his career atAllendale Insurance (United States ) in 1976 as Financial Controller. -
Thierry then joined the
Coopers & Lybrand auditing firm in 1979 as an Auditor before becoming a Manager. In 1983, he moved to the Chargeurs group where he held the successive positions of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Croisières Paquet. -
He went on to join
Groupe SEB in 1994, first as Chief Executive Officer and later as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer ofCALOR SA . Thierry was then appointed Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer ofGroupe SEB in 1999 before being nominated Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in 2000. -
Under his leadership since 2000,
