Philanthropic Solutions clients will now benefit from expanded resources, solutions, and insights from dedicated advisors with deep experience in charitable giving, nonprofit administration, investment leadership and more. The group will serve high-net-worth individuals, families, private foundations, public charities and nonprofit organizations and will work alongside other Regions wealth and trust advisors and relationship consultants who manage additional parts of a client’s Wealth Management relationship with Regions.

“For decades, Regions Wealth Management has been a trusted resource for clients who have a purpose and passion for using their resources to advance good work across our communities,” said Bill Ritter, head of Regions Wealth Management. “With the launch of the Philanthropic Solutions group, we’re enhancing how we deliver guidance, insights and solutions through a centralized focus on helping clients through the dynamics of stewarding their investment assets and portfolio construction. That, in turn, can deepen clients’ charitable missions and leave a strong legacy.”

Marcie Braswell will lead the Philanthropic Solutions group. Braswell previously led the Endowments & Foundations team within Regions Institutional Services for nearly a decade and brings a depth of experience in consulting with nonprofits and foundations. In her new role, Braswell will guide the expanded group of advisors to provide subject-matter advice, thought leadership, investment, administrative solutions, and more.

Prior to joining Regions in 2014, Braswell practiced law for 16 years as an associate and then shareholder with Maynard Cooper & Gale, now Maynard Nexsen. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Louisiana State University and a Juris Doctor from Washington and Lee University School of Law.

“The work of nonprofit organizations, charitable foundations, and the individuals, families and companies who support them never stops,” Braswell said. “They continually pour into missions that make our communities strong. Through our Philanthropic Solutions group, we can deliver more customized advice and guidance to clients in ways that impact people and communities for generations. We look forward to welcoming our current clients – and new clients – to this expanded approach toward strategically managing and reaching philanthropic goals.”
