Ohio Valley Banc Corp. Reports 3rd Quarter Earnings
- Net interest income increased by $2,324,000 for the nine months ended September 30, 2023, compared to the same period last year. Average loans increased by $88 million. Noninterest income increased by $77,000 for the nine months ended September 30, 2023. Total assets increased by $103 million, or 8.5%, since December 31, 2022.
- Consolidated net income for Q3 2023 decreased by $1,439,000 compared to the same period last year. Earnings per share also decreased. Net interest income decreased by $469,000 for the three months ended September 30, 2023, compared to the same period last year. Provision for credit loss expense increased by $1,266,000 for the three months ended September 30, 2023, compared to the same period last year.
