("American Robotics" or "AR"), announced today that Ondas Networks has received authorization from the Canadian government to sell its 900 MHz Advanced Train Control System platform. The ATCS platform, which had previously been introduced to the U.S. market, is now available for deployment throughout the Canadian rail system. The products will be sold and marketed by Siemens Mobility under their Airlink brand name to both Canadian freight and transit rail customers.
Siemens Mobility has been providing solutions to Canada's transportation industry for more than 40 years and, in 2021, acquired RailTerm, a leading provider of rail services to Canadian rail and transit agencies. The authorization is another major milestone in the broadening adoption of the jointly developed 900 MHz products by Ondas and Siemens to address the communication needs of the North American rail market. Ondas will provide marketing and customer support to Siemens in the Canadian rail market.
