The device, powered by Qualcomm's Dragonwing IQ-615, is specifically designed for low-voltage substations and distribution automation in smart grids.
The demonstration will highlight real-time power consumption monitoring capabilities for low-voltage grids, enabling grid operators to optimize power distribution and usage costs. SmartLV integrates advanced cybersecurity protocols and AI capabilities for managing Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) and low-voltage substations.
The product represents the latest collaboration between Lantronix and Qualcomm Technologies, combining AI and connectivity capabilities. SmartLV Gateway is scheduled for launch in CY 2025, with trials beginning in late CY 2024 for selected Distribution System Operators (DSOs).
