CORRECTING and REPLACING Laser Photonics and Fonon Technologies Partnership with NOBLE Delivers TAA-Compliant Laser Solutions, Transforming Marine Base Readiness
Laser Photonics (NASDAQ: LASE) and Fonon Technologies have successfully delivered a TAA-compliant DefenseTech MRLS Finishing laser system (DTMF-1030) to a Marine Corps base in North Carolina through their partnership with NOBLE. The system will enhance maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) capabilities at the base.
Building on this success, the company is now working to achieve TAA compliance for the DefenseTech Blaster Cabinet (DTMF-4020), a self-contained system combining fiber laser technology with a handheld blasting head. The DTMF-4020 features a 30" x 26" workspace and dual-axis technology for processing complex surfaces.
The system is designed for various applications including surface conditioning, corrosion removal, coating removal, and pre-weld treatment. Once TAA-certified, it will be the only solution of its kind available to U.S. government agencies and military, ensuring compliance with requirements that products sold to the U.S. government be manufactured or substantially transformed in the United States or designated countries.
