LANSING, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Jackson National Life Insurance Company® (Jackson®), the main operating subsidiary of Jackson Financial Inc.¹ (NYSE: JXN), today announced it has awarded more than $750,000 to nonprofits serving the communities where Jackson has offices: Lansing, Michigan; Nashville, Tennessee; and Chicago, Illinois. These funds will support grant recipients in a variety of ways, including support for people experiencing homelessness; preservation of a historic neighborhood with affordable homeownership opportunities; and increased access to quality employment and financial stability.

Among the grant recipients in the Lansing area is City Rescue Mission, which is dedicated to meeting the physical needs of homeless men, women and children in Michigan’s Capital-area region. Established in 1911, the organization serves an average of 365 meals each day, houses 244 people each evening and in 2023 helped more than 2,300 community members. This year, the Mission is funding an expansion project to increase its service reach by renovating two former office buildings to include dorm rooms, a warming kitchen and cafeteria. Additionally, the renovations will connect the two buildings and provide state-of-the art bathroom and shower facilities to accommodate hundreds of individuals.
