Kia India has started mass production of the Syros SUV, a new family-focused vehicle specifically designed for the Indian market. The SUV, which was unveiled in December 2024, has already secured 10,258 pre-orders. The five-seat Syros features advanced technology including Level 2 ADAS with 16 autonomous safety features, over 80 connected features, and first-in-segment rear sliding, reclining and ventilated seats.
Sales will officially begin on February 1, 2025, with customer deliveries following shortly after. The vehicle will be manufactured at Kia's Anantapur plant in Andhra Pradesh, which has an annual production capacity of 300,000 units. Kia plans to expand the Syros's availability to markets in Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and Middle East regions.
