Five Star Bancorp (FSBC) reported a net income of $9.8 million for Q2 2021, a decline from $10.3 million in Q1 2021 and $10.1 million in Q2 2020. Asset Quality
Small Business Administration (“SBA”) PPP
In March 2020, the SBA PPP was created to help small businesses keep workers employed during the COVID-19 pandemic. As an SBA Preferred Lender, the Company was able to provide PPP loans to small business customers. As of June 30, 2021, there were 416 PPP loans outstanding totaling

Following the passage of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (“CARES Act”), the “Interagency Statement on Loan Modifications and Reporting for Financial Institutions Working with Customers Affected by the Coronavirus (Revised)” was issued by federal bank regulators, which offers temporary relief from troubled debt restructuring accounting for loan payment deferrals for certain customers whose businesses are experiencing economic hardship due to COVID-19. The Company is closely monitoring the effects of the pandemic on our loan and deposit customers.
