This addition brings the bank’s total ENERGY STAR-certified space to over 1.2 million square feet. With an ENERGY STAR Score of 79, the Madisonville center surpasses 79% of similar properties nationwide. This certification marks Fifth Third’s 150th building to earn the rating, demonstrating sustained energy savings and environmental commitment. On average, ENERGY STAR certified buildings and plants use 35 percent less energy, cause 35 percent fewer greenhouse gas emissions, and are less expensive to operate than their peers—all without sacrifices in performance or comfort.
