DESERT MOUNTAIN ENERGY POWERS UP THE McCAULEY HELIUM PROCESSING FACILITY
Desert Mountain Energy Corp. (OTC: DMEHF) announced the completion of high-pressure testing of its McCauley Helium Processing Facility, which is now operational via CNG generators. The facility will switch to solar energy upon receiving battery storage units. The company is addressing potential processing challenges due to summer temperatures by having GENERON fabricate and install necessary components in the next 10-14 days. CEO Robert Rohlfing praised the on-site fabrication work despite facing extreme winter conditions. DME aims to optimize throughput and product purity over the coming 90 days.
- Successful high-pressure testing of all processing components.
- Facility now operational using CNG generators.
- Transition to solar energy planned with battery storage units.
- Potential processing issues during elevated summer temperatures.
DME has identified a few items which could possibly affect processing during elevated summer temperatures. GENERON is resolving this by fabricating the appropriate pieces and installing them within 10-14 days to resolve any issues.
"We are pleased with the excellent job performance and on-site fabrication services that our installation crews did for us since taking delivery of the plant," said
Extreme winter conditions required extra diligence during welding and other operations performed in the open desert. Pass ratings required X-raying all welds to detect any defects like porosities, cracks and inclusions. The Company made the decision to go above the normally accepted practices in order to ensure years of uninterrupted operation and minimum maintenance. DME anticipates it will continue to work through various throughput, gaseous chemical mixtures and final product purity levels over the 90-day optimization program.
