Criteo Reports Strong Financial Results In Third Quarter 2021
Criteo S.A. (NASDAQ: CRTO) reported strong Q3 2021 financial results, with revenue reaching $509 million, up 8% year-over-year. The company achieved a net income of $24 million, a 358% increase, resulting in diluted EPS of $0.37. Gross profit also grew by 16% to $176 million. Revenue excluding traffic acquisition costs (ex-TAC) rose 13% to $211 million. Criteo's operating cash flow remained stable at $51 million, with free cash flow decreasing to $35 million. A strategic building block of Criteo's Commerce Media Platform, the Retail Media Platform, introduced in June 2020, is a self-service solution providing transparency, measurement and control to brands and retailers. In all arrangements running on this platform, Criteo recognizes revenue on a net basis, whereas revenue from arrangements running on legacy Retail Media solutions are accounted for on a gross basis.
