PROVIDENCE, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (NYSE: CFG) today announced the redemption on September 29, 2022, of all of its outstanding 6.50% Fixed-to-Floating Rate Subordinated Notes due October 1, 2027 (CUSIP No. 380569AA1) (the “Notes) assumed in connection with CFG’s recent acquisition of Investors Bancorp, Inc. The redemption price for the Notes will be equal to 100% of principal amount of the Notes redeemed, plus any accrued and unpaid interest to, but excluding, the redemption date of September 29, 2022.

In accordance with the Notes, the holders of the Notes will receive notice of the redemption, the redemption price and further instructions and details related to the process of such redemption.
