“Environmental leadership is a core value of our company, and we demonstrate this daily through our efforts to protect sources of drinking water and our continuous reinvestment in water and sewer system upgrades,” said Pennsylvania American Water President Justin Ladner. “These grants provided by our charitable foundation to nonprofits in the communities we serve demonstrate our ongoing commitment to clean water, healthy communities, and educating our next generation about the importance of environmental stewardship.”

Montgomery County ): for the John James Audubon Center Riparian Restoration Project, which will engage diverse audiences in buffer restoration work to mitigate storm damage in Perkiomen Creek$27,450

Pike County ): for PEEC Into the Classroom, which will support programming, transport and supplies for 700+ students inside/outside of class to learn about environmental stewardship$30,000
