TruVista Communications has partnered with GOCare to enhance customer experience and support network growth initiatives. The collaboration involves implementing GOCare's Digital Experience Platform, including Messenger, Outage Management, Connect, Pulse, and Reach solutions.

The partnership aims to achieve several key objectives: reducing inbound calls through proactive notifications and self-care options, managing broadband outages effectively with two-way SMS capabilities, measuring customer experience through Net Promoter Score® surveys, and streamlining operations for more efficient growth. TruVista, operating in Georgia and South Carolina, provides fiber internet, voice, video, cellular, and security services. The implementation focuses on delivering superior service through digital channels including SMS, email, social media, and web chat.

Adtran announced that the Brazilian National Observatory has integrated its OSA 3300 Super High-Performance optical cesium atomic clock into its timekeeping infrastructure. This marks the first use of an optical pumping cesium clock at the observatory, enabling more precise maintenance and distribution of legal Brazilian time.

The OSA 3300 SHP delivers twice the short and long-term stability of magnetic cesium clocks and double the operational lifespan. The technology features exceptional short-term stability through industry-first optical pumping technology, providing twice the Allan Deviation performance while maintaining a 10-year lifespan. The system's compact design allows seamless integration with existing infrastructure and includes remote management capabilities.

The deployment, supported by specialized provider Nextest, strengthens the observatory's role in national and international scientific work, including seismological monitoring and astronomical data collection, while contributing to the global UTC standard.

Adtran has introduced the Enhanced Short-Term Unit (ESTU) precision timing module for its OSA 3300 series optical cesium clocks. This upgrade significantly improves short-term frequency stability, achieving performance levels comparable to the passive hydrogen maser, which is no longer available in Western markets.

The ESTU module enhances short-term Allan Deviation, providing improved synchronization accuracy important for industries including metrology, aerospace, and defense. Supporting both 5MHz and 10MHz output frequencies, it enables more stable data collection, satellite communication, and measurement operations.

This innovation combines the short-term stability of a passive hydrogen maser with the long-term stability of a high-performance cesium clock, making it particularly valuable for mission-critical applications in satellite communication systems, metrology labs, and deep-space exploration.

Adtran announced that Titan Telecoms is deploying 800Gbit/s flexible spectrum services between Sydney and Melbourne using Adtran's FSP 3000 TeraFlex™ CoreChannel™ technology. The implementation spans a 963km backbone link and represents a significant advancement in Southeast Australia's digital infrastructure.

The multi-vendor network utilizes Adtran's optical terminal technology alongside Ciena's OLS to enable dynamic bandwidth allocation and optimized fiber utilization. The service operates over Lumea's optical ground wire network, providing adaptive symbol rate and spectral shaping capabilities. The solution is managed by Adtran's Mosaic Network Controller with SDN control, supporting a mix of 400Gbit/s, 100Gbit/s, and 10Gbit/s client services multiplexed to 800Gbit/s.

ACE Fiber, a subsidiary of Alcorn County Electric Power Association (ACE Power), is expanding its fiber network into New Albany, Mississippi, using Adtran's comprehensive fiber network technologies. The deployment includes the FSP 3000 open optical transport solution, ALM fiber monitoring platform, and Mosaic One SaaS for network management.

The network infrastructure will deliver multigigabit fiber-to-the-home technology, supporting essential services like telehealth and expanding opportunities for remote work and learning. Key components include OLTs for network expansion, ONTs providing connections up to 10Gbit/s, and SDG 8000 Series mesh Wi-Fi gateways offering Wi-Fi 6 and 7 services. The implementation also features Intellifi® for AI-powered Wi-Fi optimization with customizable settings and parental controls.

ProTek Fiber has partnered with Adtran to expand full-fiber internet connectivity to underserved areas in Illinois, transitioning from a wireless internet service provider to fiber optic technology. The deployment aims to connect 10,000 homes across five counties: Williamson, Jackson, Franklin, Johnson, and Union.

The implementation includes Adtran's SDX 6000 Series Combo PON OLTs, SDX 630 Series ONTs, and SDG 8700 Series Wi-Fi 7 devices. The solution features Mosaic One SaaS platform for network management and ALM fiber monitoring with deep PON assurance for real-time fault detection. This technology enables ProTek Fiber to efficiently expand its network while maintaining high service quality and minimizing maintenance costs.

The expansion is expected to boost economic activity in the region and enable remote work, education, and telemedicine access for thousands of residents who previously had or no broadband connectivity.

Adtran and IdeaTek have announced a partnership to deploy Kansas's first 50G PON network, aiming to enhance connectivity across the state, including underserved areas. The collaboration will leverage Adtran's SDX 6400 Series OLT to deliver scalable, future-ready infrastructure with speeds up to 50Gbit/s. This technology will support various applications such as smart farming, IoT connectivity, remote healthcare, augmented/virtual reality, and ultra-high-definition video for homes and businesses.

Building on Adtran's 10G fiber access platform and Wi-Fi 7-enabled mesh gateways, the rollout will help IdeaTek expand its subscriber base and bridge the digital divide, ensuring even the hardest-to-reach communities have access to high-speed internet. The SDX 6400 Series OLT offers the flexibility to integrate GPON, XGS-PON, and 50G PON on every port, allowing incremental technology adoption without service disruption.
