Approximately 90 miles by road from Fallon, Nevada this property was first discovered by Mr. Will Reed in the 1880's who according to the historical records successfully shipped several car loads of hand-sorted ore containing 62 percent Antimony. Developed by several adits, open cuts, and trenches The Antimony King was the principal antimony property of the Bernice Mining District. Described as a vein traceable on the surface for 900 feet in length with a width ranging from 4 inches to 4 feet and was regarded as remarkably persistent for an antimony deposit.
